Terms of Service
Last updated: October 2026
These terms govern your use of Mostra, the page builder at mostra.bio. By creating an account you agree to them.
1. Your account
You must be at least 16 years old and give accurate information. You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your sign-in method secure.
2. Your content
You keep ownership of everything you publish on Mostra. You give us a limited licence to host, process and display it so that your page works. You promise that you have the rights to what you upload and that it does not infringe anyone else's rights or break the law.
3. Acceptable use
Do not use Mostra to publish illegal content, harass others, distribute malware, impersonate people or brands, or attempt to disrupt the service. We may unpublish pages or suspend accounts that break these rules.
4. Plans and subscriptions
Mostra has a free plan and paid plans billed monthly or yearly through Stripe. Paid plans renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your account; the plan stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for. Prices are shown in euro and include the taxes we are required to collect where applicable.
If a plan ends or is downgraded, features outside the new plan stop applying to your published pages. Your drafts are never deleted, and upgrading again restores them.
5. Immediate access and withdrawal
Paid plans are digital services that start immediately after payment. By subscribing you expressly ask us to begin performance right away and acknowledge that, where the law allows, you lose the right of withdrawal once the service has started. You will be asked to confirm this at checkout. This does not affect any statutory rights that cannot be waived.
6. Availability
We work to keep Mostra available but do not promise uninterrupted service. We may change or retire features, and will give reasonable notice of changes that materially affect paid plans.
7. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Mostra is provided as is, and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
8. Changes and contact
We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version, and continued use means you accept it. For questions write to hello@mostra.bio.
Marketplace terms
These terms apply in addition to the Terms of Service when you buy or sell artwork, licences, prints or originals through Mostra. They are a draft awaiting professional legal review.
1. Artwork licences
A licence is granted to the buyer who paid for it. It covers all of that buyer's Mostra pages, has no end date, and cannot be transferred or resold. It does not transfer copyright, which stays with the artist.
A licence ends automatically if the payment is refunded or lost to a chargeback, or if the artwork is taken down by Mostra. When a licence ends, the artwork stops appearing on the buyer's pages.
2. Immediate supply and no change-of-mind refunds
A licence is digital content supplied immediately after payment. By buying, you expressly ask for immediate supply and acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal once supply begins. Licences therefore carry no change-of-mind refund.
3. Takedowns and refunds
If an artwork is taken down because it infringes rights or breaks our rules, buyers of its licence are refunded the price paid. Refunds are issued to the original payment method.
4. Who sells, who pays
For marketplace payments Mostra is the merchant of record: you pay Mostra, and Mostra passes the proceeds to the artist or seller. The artist or seller receives their payout through Stripe Connect and must complete Stripe's identity checks. The price you pay is the price shown at checkout. The fee Mostra keeps is the fee in our pricing.
5. Prints and originals
Sellers who offer prints or original works are responsible for describing them accurately, shipping them, handling returns and meeting the consumer-law duties that apply to them, including the information and withdrawal rights owed to consumers. Mostra does not ship or hold stock.
6. Paid placement
Spotlight is paid placement. Artists pay to be shown on the home page, on Explore and on the Artists page, and every such placement is labelled as sponsored. Paying for Spotlight does not change how an artwork is reviewed or whether it may be taken down.
Business pages: bookings and orders
These terms apply in addition to the Terms of Service when a page owner uses booking or order-request features. They are a draft awaiting professional legal review.
1. Mostra is not a party
Bookings and orders are arrangements between the visitor and the page owner. Mostra only passes the request on and does not take part in, guarantee or handle payment for it.
2. Requests are not confirmations
A request is not a confirmed reservation or order. It is confirmed only when the owner confirms it to the visitor.
3. Prices shown
Any price or total shown on a page is the owner's estimate. The owner decides the final price, and the owner is responsible for the accuracy of what the page says.
